GPSDO Reference
A GPS-disciplined oscillator (GPSDO) reference is a frequency standard that combines a high-stability oscillator with a GPS receiver. The GPS provides a long-term accurate 1 PPS timing signal, while the oscillator supplies short-term stability. A control loop continuously corrects the oscillator against GPS, yielding a precise and stable reference (e.g., 10 MHz) with long-term accuracy tied to atomic time.
